SIRE: RUBINSTEIN I The black stallion RUBINSTEIN I who died
on 5th June, 2000 at only 14 years of age has become a legend. all
over the equestrian world.
His brilliant career included 40 victories
at Grand Prix level, he was member of the German Olympic Team in 1996 and
he is the father of 89 premium mares and 66 approved stallions. Johann
Hinnemann, formal trainer of the German Dressage Elite said: "He was a
very special stallion and passed on to his offspring his exceptional rideability,
his friendly character and his eagerness to perform." RUBINSTEIN`s foals
were sold at incredible prices: 100.000 Euro (converted from Deutschmarks)
for the stallion Rosenstar S in 1994, 1995 160.000 Euro for the beautiful
mare Rose of Jade, 1996 190.000 Euro for Robespierre (most expensive
colt ever) ,170.000 Euro for Royal Jubilee. RUBINSTEIN`s son RELEVANT got
the team silver medal at Jerez World Championships in Dressage under the
saddle of American born Lisa Wilcox and 5th indiviual ranking in dressage.
He is world best Dressage stallion in BCM World Breeding Ranking.
Though RUBINSTEIN`s international career
was exclusively in dressage, he had also an ecceptional talent for the
jump. In his performance test in Adelheidsdorf - he took 3rd position out
of a total of 66 participants - he got high marks for his jumping capacity.

RUBINSTEIN`S first offspring in Italy and a highly interesting breeding
project: the combination of world`s best jumping bloodline
of POLYDOR with world`s best dressage pedigree of RUBINSTEIN I.

Juni 2000 viel zu früh starb, ist Legende geworden. Er hatte 40 Siege
auf Grand-Prix-Niveau, war Mitglied des deutschen Olympiakaders 1996, ist
Vater von 89 Staatsprämienstuten und 66 gekörten Hengsten. Johann
Hinnemann, der Extrainer der deutschen Dressur-Elite sagte von ihm: "Ein
Jahrhundert-Hengst. Seine Vererbung hinsichtlich Rittigkeit, Sitzkomfort,
Umgänglichkeit und Leistungsbereitschaft sind einmalig". Seine Fohlen
erzielten Spitzenpreise: Umgerechnet Euro 100.000 für den Hengst Rosenstar
S im Jahr 1994, 1995 umgerechnet 160.000 Euro für die Stute Rose of
Jade, 1996 für Robespierre umgerechnet 190.000 Euro, 1999 Royal
Jubilee für umgerechnet 170.000 Euro. RUBINSTEINS Sohn RELEVANT holte
im Jahr 2002 in JEREZ mit LISA WILCOX die Mannschaftssilbermedaille
und den 5. Platz in der Einzelwertung Dressur. Er ist weltbester Dressurhengst
lt. BCM World Breeding Ranking.
Obwohl Rubinstein I eine Dressur-Weltkarriere
machte, ist auch seine Springanlage nicht zu unterschätzen. Bei der
Hengstleistungsprüfung in Adelheidsdorf - er war mit 136,56 Punkten
Dritter von 66 Teilnehmern - wurde seine Springanlage ebenfalls hoch bewertet.
RUBINSTEINS Sohn SANTO STEFANO RAMAZZOTTI
ist das erste Fohlen, das nach dem Tod seines berühmten Vaters in
Italien zur Welt kam, und eine hochinteressante Anpaarung: die Kombination
aus weltbestem Springblut über POLYDOR mit weltbestem Dressurblut
über RUBINSTEIN I..

RUBINSTEIN I morto al 5 giugno 2000 a solo 14 anni. 40 volte era vincitore
al livello di Gran Premio, faceva parte della squadra olimpica tedesca
in 1996, è padre di 89 fattrici élite premiate dello stato
tedesco e di 66 stalloni approvati. Johann Hinnemann, ex-allenatore
della squadra tedesca di dressage al livello olimpico diceva di lui: "
Uno stallone davvero eccezionale. Trasmette ai suoi figli una cavalcabilità
fuoriclasse, il suo carattere docile ed estremamente buono ed una disponibilità
immensa." I suoi puledri venivano venduti a prezzi incredibili: Euro 100.000
per lo stallone Rosenstar S nel 1994, 160.000 Euro per la femmina Rose
of Jade in 1995, in 1996 190.000 Euro per Robespierre, 1999 Euro 170.000
per Royal Jubilee. RELEVANT, figlio di RUBINSTEIN I, vinceva la medaglia
d` argento a squadre sotto la sella dell`amazzone americana LISA WILCOX
ai Campionati Mondiali a Jerez in 2002 ed il 5. posto nel individuale di
dressage. Secondo il BCM World Breeding Ranking è il miglior stallone
di dressage del mondo.
RUBINSTEIN I aveva la sua carriera sul
livello mondiale in dressage, ma non si dimentica il suo talento per il
salto. Nel Performance Test per stalloni ad Adelheidsdorf - era il terzo
classificato con un indice totale di 136,56 punti tra 66 participanti -
prendeva un indice considerevole per il suo attitudine al salto.
RAMAZZOTTI - figlio di RUBINSTEIN
I e SANTO STEFANO PYRAH - è il primo puledro di una discendenza
spettacolare nato in Italia dopo il morto tragico del suo padre è
nasce da un accoppiamento molto interessante: la combinazione del miglior
sangue del salto di POLYDOR con il miglior sangue del dressage di RUBINSTEIN
I.
DAM: SANTO STEFANO CONTESSA This beautiful chestnut mare who died
in 2001 only three weeks after RUBINSTEIN`s death due to a tragic error
of an Italian veterinary hospital was the first foal born at SANTO STEFANO
Breeding Farm which made her very special. From the beginning she was destined
to be a mother (SANTO STEFANO`S concept being: only the very best
females for breeding, even if this means sacrifying an agonistic career)
because of her outstanding capacity over the jump inherited from her famous
ancestors Cor de la Bryere, Lord, Ladykiller and Paradox, her lovely character
and her beautiful looks. In the 1996 Italian qualifying test for breeding
mares she got 80,5 points only surpassed by her younger sister SANTO STEFANO
CHAYA with 82,5 points. In her short life CONTESSA gave birth to three
beautiful stallions: SANTO STEFANO WINNIE trained by Gianni Govoni, SANTO
STEFANO CORDE winner of the Italian Performace Test 2002 and SANTO
STEFANO RUBINSTEIN who we all hope one day will be able to pass on
his outstanding ancestors` genes.
MUTTER: SANTO STEFANO CONTESSA Diese wunderschöne Fuchs-Stute -
sie starb im Juni 2001 nur drei Wochen nach RUBINSTEINS Tod durch einen
tragischen Irrtum einer italienischen Pferde-Klinik - war das erste Fohlen,
das auf dem Gestüt SANTO STEFANO geboren wurde. Allein das machte
sie zu etwas ganz besonderem. CONTESSA sollte von Anfang an Zuchtsute werden,
denn das Konzept von SANTO STEFANO ist, seine besten weiblichen Nachkommen
zur Zucht einzusetzen, auch auf die Gefahr hin, dass dies eine Sportkarriere
und finanzielle Vorteile ausschliesst. CONTESSA hatte eine überdurchschnittliche
Springbegabung, das Erbe ihrer berühmten Vorfahren Cor de la Bryère,
Lord, Ladykiller und Paradox, sie war bildschön und hatte einen aussergewöhnlich
lieben Charakter. Bei der italienischen Zuchtstutenprüfung im Jahr
1996 bekam sie die Traumnote 80,5 und wurde damit nur durch ihre jüngere
Schwester SANTO STEFANO CHAYA geschlagen, die mit 82,5 Punkten den ersten
Platz belegte. In ihrem kurzen Leben brachte SANTO STEFANO CONTESSA drei
überdurchschnittliche Hengste zur Welt: SANTO STEFANO WINNIE, der
von Gianni Govoni trainiert wird, SANTO STEFANO CORDE, den Sieger der italienischen
Hengsleistungsprüfung 2002 ( auch im Training bei Govoni), und SANTO
STEFANO RUBINSTEIN, in den wir all unsere Hoffnung setzen, dass er eines
Tages qualifiziert sein wird, die Gene seiner berühmten Vorfahren
zu vererben.
MADRE: SANTO STEFANO CONTESSA Questa bellissima saura - morta in Giugno
2001 solo tre settimane dopo RUBINSTEIN a causa di un errore tragico di
una clinica veterinaria italiana - era la prima puledra nata a SANTO STEFANO,
un fatto che la rendeva speciale per tutti. Già dal inizio il destino
della CONTESSA era di essere fattrice perche secondo il concetto di SANTO
STEFANO le miglior femmine nate vengono utilisate per l`allevamento, anche
se cosi a volte viene esclusa una carriera agonistica con i relativi avantaggi
economici. CONTESSA era eccezionale sul salto, eridità dei suoi
antenati favolosi Cor de la Bryère, Lord, Ladykiller, Paradox, di
un aspetto brillante ed impressionante, docile e disponibile di carattere.
Alla rassegna per fattrici élite ENCI nelle Marche in 1996 era seconda
classificata con rispettabili 80,5 punti, solo sorpassata dalla sua sorella
più giovane SANTO STEFANO CHAYA con 82,5 punti. Aveva una vita solo
breve, ma ci dava tre figli stupendi, i stalloni SANTO STEFANO WINNIE in
allenamento da Gianni Govoni, SANTO STEFANO CORDE - vincitore del Performance
Test 2002 a Grosseto - anche preparato per la carriera agonistica da Gianni
Govoni - e SANTO STEFANO RUBINSTEIN che - speriamo - un giorno si qualifica
"stallone approvato" trasmettendo i geni dei suoi antenati famosi.
